Before San Zeno there was Euprepius, Dimidrianus and Lucillus and, after him, tens of thousands of Christians who constructed swathes of bell towers and churches that made Verona into a new, Little Rome of the believer. The main churches of the city, as well as some buildings which have since been deconsecrated, still maintain the historical charm of more than a thousand years of human history.
