Lake Garda is the most precious jewel of this land. Among the municipalities that overlook it, the best known are: Peschiera, known for its beaches and its walls; Lazise, with its charming old town and its fortresses used by the Scaligeri and the Venetians; Bardolino, with the Romanesque church of San Severo and the elegant villas: finally Garda, dominated by the Colle delle Rocca and the beauty of Punta San Vigilio.

After Punta San Vigilio the lake narrows, closed to the east by Monte Baldo and to the west by the Brescia pre-Alps. Further north we find Brenzone, Malcesine and Torri del Benaco, famous for its tranquility and for the Scaliger castle accompanied by the Palazzo del Capitano del Governo, the Limonaia, the Torre del Berengario and the small church of the Holy Trinity.
